All complaints must be signed and must contain the name, address, phone number, and email of complainant, as well as the same for the code complaint to the best of their ability. Anonymous complaints will not be investigated. Names of complainants will not be made public; however, please be aware should the complaint result in enforcement proceedings, the Township cannot protect the complainant’s anonymity.

Contact the Township Staff member that issued the notice to notify them of your intentions

Work to bring your property into compliance, if applicable

What you SHOULD NOT do:

Nothing. The issue brought to your attention by the Township isn't going away. Ignoring it will just cause citations to be issued, including fines and possible jail time.

Yell at the Township Support Staff at the Township Office. They did not make the rules or send you the notice. Save your displeasure for the Township Supervisors or the author of your letter.
